About Us
PTFC is a non-profit youth organization committed to the growth and development of tackle football and cheerleading. Based in Pembroke, MA, our youth football teams compete in the Old Colony Youth Football League which is comprised of teams from 25 South Shore cities and towns. The league is divided into 7 divisions, roughly defined by size and competitive level. Our football teams will be competing this year in Division 3 with 4 other teams - E. Bridgewater, Norwell, Plymouth S. and Barnstable. Each of these teams will be competing against each other with the final game being the Division 3 Super Bowl. Our cheerleading squads will be competing in 3 competitions with the final competition being the OCYCA (Old Colony Youth Cheerleading Association) Championship.
Our History
PTFC was formed in the spring of 2010 with the merger of two separate youth football and cheerleading programs. Those two programs were Pembroke Pop Warner and Pembroke Youth Football. This was done in the spirit of unifying our town into one single and sustainable football and cheerleading program.
To promote the sports of football and cheerleading in Pembroke and to develop well rounded young boys and girls who will learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship, and fair play, while encouraging learning, personal development, and success for each participant based on his or her talents.
PTFC is affiliated with the Old Colony Youth Football League and Old Colony Youth Cheerleading Association.
